Modern blunts were developed to hunt birds and small game such as squirrels using Flu-Flu arrows. The idea was that blunt-tipped arrows would be less likely to stick in tree trunks or limbs. Combine this non-stick point with flu-flu fletching, which dramatically restricts arrows’ travel, and you have a pretty good solution for tree-born targets.
The Bludgeon’s special energy-transference head packs a wallop and reduces shaft breakage when the arrow hits a hard object. The Bludeon’s wide tip also helps eliminate the shaft from snaking under grass.
